Leadership camp 2009!!

This year I was invited to the pinal county leadership camp. This camp is so oober amazing!! We played games, sang songs, climbed up onto a sixty foot high ropes course, cried and best of all.... DANCED!!! It was so life changing and I just want to go back. Here are a few pics of what we did:)

We rode up early on a wednesday morning, we rode the short bus and it was a bumpy ride!! This is Ezri falling off of her seat:)

There was snow everywhere in Oracle, AZ where camp was.

This is Ryan Leybaus, he started this camp when he was 12 years old for his Eagle Project for boy scouts, he is one of the best motivational speakers I have ever heard!

Jordan Kay and Marly Kaziah.

Jordan Chapman is my ABSOLUTE best friend. Jordan and I met four years ago when she moved in a few months after I did. our families had FHE together. Jordan took me up to see her room and we found things in common, we both played softball and a stringed instrument in orchestra.(Jordan violin and me cello) and even though neither of us play either of those now, we are still BEST FRIENDS! everywhere we go we take pictures together. A trip to the zoo!!!!

Well I know it seems a bit kiddish but.... I LOVE THE ZOO!!! Since Jordans birthday was last week we went to the zoo for her party!! Jordan and I could spend ALL day there!! After five hours on saturday, I didnt ever want to leave!

sis. chapman remembered that she had a picture of Jordan when she was little in this clam so we made jordan get in there for another! She didnt like it, here she is looking at layne for help:)

We played on the playground. YES we got worried looks from all the adults standing on the side!

We jumped into an exhibit and pretended to be the exhibit. Well I did, not so much Jordan.

Jordan climbed a tree. Layne was "gazing".

Not many people know this but I LOVE ELEPHANTS! That was what I was soooo excited for, so we went straight to the elephants and..... there was only ONE!!! GRRRRR! Anyways.... this is Reba. She is an asian elephant and she is 39 years old and has been at the pheonix zoo for ten years, and yes, I took like 20 pictures.

BUY 12 cent goldfish and take a quick nap......

SHOW some appreciation to the decorations.......

TEST the quality of the furniture,(and the shelves)

HAVE a killer puppet show.......

Our only REAL purchase (besides the goldfish) was some starbucks frappucinos!!

how the time flys.....

Well i havnt blogged in quite a while so here it is!

- I was made NJHS president of the combs chapter. My vice-president is a good friend of mine named kylie shull and we are ready to get this show on the road!
- Combs track and field 2008. Track started and ended. I was the captain of the 2008 team and we where amazing! i ran alot of races including the 1 1/2 mile. plus i high jumped! this year we decided on a crazy t-shirt that says "hot like your mom" on the front. so our chant was hot like your mom. too bad we had a few bad sports who refused to join the team cheer when we said that. Way to have a sense of humor guys!!
- sandman became cool again in our little group of people around here!

im sure alot of other stuff has happened but i am losing patience..
