5,6, and 7 (thankful for)

5th the atonement-- I am thankful for this because it makes repentance possible, and since I know I am not perfect repentance is a key in my life. I am very thankful for the atonement of Christ.

6th family-- I am thankful to always have someone at home who will always love me when it feels like the whole world is out to get me.

7th sleep-- though I don't sleep as much as I want to sleeping always makes me feel better. I don't like to be tired but even if I have energy I like the sweet serenity of sleep.

Im stealing from my mom....

I decided to do the thankfulness chain like my mom is.

I have a book I write everything I am thankful for every thanksgiving so this is another add-on to that. Yes, I know I am behind so here at the first 5!

1st Early morning seminary-- Although a 4:30-10:00 o'clock day is hard it's not nearly as hard as some people have it, and for the hours of 5:50-6:50 I get to listen to the teachings of my lord. It is very awarding most days. I think I have better days when I do go (even though im usually late). I am also the seminary class president which everyone guessed right away. I love conducting but im a slacker I think and I don't always get there in time to conduct. Today we watched "the testament" in class, I was brought to tears at the power of it and was especially touched by the prayer Brooklyn gave afterwards, all around the day started out amazingly.

2nd hospitals and doctors-- Recently my grandpa has been in the hospital alot for his heart similarly to my amazing friend Hana Hornbeck who is suffering from myocarditis. Three more cousins where born (one of them kept in PICU for awhile) and soon my mom will go to the hospital to have my 7th sibling. Also I needed a hospital and a neurologist which helped me alot.

3rd Imperfections-- I think imperfections where given to us so we could grow and learn. Without them there is no progression and no improvement. I hate it when people think that others are perfect, I hate it when people think I am perfect, truely I don't want to be perfect, only perfectd in God.

4th my school-- I don't care what anyone says about Combs. I love my school. I learn same as you. I play sports same as you. I use computers same as you. I eat lunch same as you (if not better, our lunches rock!) I do homework same as you. I pass classes same as you. I never want to hear that Combs is a "dangerous and scary" school, you obviously don't know scary if you are calling my school scary. Yes, we are diverse but we are no different from your school. I have witnessed one "almost fight" this year and have heard of NO other ones. It is wonderfully safe and I love love love love love love love love it!

5th music-- There is no other way to feel better or channel a mood. I could change your mood with all the music I know. I don't like one certain kind of music. I listen to bands such as Senses fail then switch over to music like Lenka. Whenever I give a talk I can guarantee that I will most likely use a song to channel my topic. I love it. Im obsessed!

p.s. This is my first post that I did not include pictures(:

Hana Hornbeck!

Hana and Taylor
Emily and Hana

Cute Hana!

Hana and I!

Hana is a girl on my cheer squad, she is one of the sweetest most giving hard-working person I know. She is so so so so great. About 6 weeks ago a sad thing happened, Hana was diagnosed with myocarditis, this in an infection that goes straight to your heart. It's what was explained to me as the flu going to your heart. She was then transported to UCLA medical center. She has missed 6 weeks of school. She has had 3 heart surgerys and her diagnose was changed to Giant cell myocarditis the other day. Soon she will need to have a heart transplant, that is what she is awaiting right now. Here are a few fundraisers for her:

-November 10- Jimmy of Chicagos:Italian home cooking is hosting a fundraiser for her. 20% of all proceeds that night will be going to her, call to RSVP at 480-9636363

November 3- Spaghetti dinner put on by the Combs High School student council. All proceeds will benefit Hana, $3 per plate, in the Combs cafeteria at 7

-Hope for Hana shirts are available, you can buy them at the High School book store (if you would like one let me know and I can pick it up for you) they are $20 and all of the money will be going to Hana.

-If you just want to donate money you can go down to the school or give it to me and I can take it to the donation box.

If you cannot donate please just keep Hana in your prayers, she needs our support and love and Combs High School needs her back!!!

I know.... I stink at blogging.

Maybe it's cause I don't have enought ime or energy but it's true, I never post to my blog. Wait! Maybe it's because nothing too exciting really ever happens to me! Hahahah. Don't worry fellow bloggers, this isn't gonna be too long.
This is Hao. He is a chinese foreign exchange student that goes to my school. He is so awesome! Super funny! And a pretty good singer! Pretty much he is one of the coolest people I know!

Cheer started ( I know it was awhile ago) this was at our first game, Naomi Barreto joined us on the field. She had her own uniform and everything! She loved it!

These are my brothers. lol. They sing on the way home or to school it's pretty wonderful, especially after a crappy day.

I love this girl, Taylor Kace!

I <3 love cheer, it makes me so happy. Imani, Taylor Monique and I at the Paradise Valley combined game.
So pretty much you can say I have lots going on and I am in absolute heaven. Not to mention I have a 3.97 GPA WITHOUT the weighted grade benefit. It's gonna be a good year.
