Running

I have a love hate relationship with my running. I love that I can run and not have a hard time. I'm not afraid to run like I am afraid to do backflips, or stunt. But I hate that I have old lady back problems and that I feel like I am gonna croak every so often when I don't even run that hard. Ugh. Frustrating. I love track, also, but then again, I hate the whole pressure of it. Right after my final race at regionals I did a cool down loop that ended me back at my campsite, there I took off my track shorts and put my jeans and t-shirt right on. I was ready for a break, although that break was only a 2 week break that bridged me over straight to cross country. I don't know how to manage it. I feel dumb when I don't run but I feel like junk when I do. Is cross training okay? If i bike 13 miles does that count as a 7 mile run?? Hmmm, the questions I will NEVER answer. Except with a maybe. But, all I know now is that it is still a love/hate relationship. At this point of the night (11:30) I hate it. Another reason I have a hard time running is that, frankly, I don't sleep soundly at night. I just don't. Sooo, I am always tired! Hahah, I can't wait for winter when I won't have to run at 5 every morning to beat the heat. If only if only. Arizona is a horrible running state. Horrible I tell you. Running has even creeped up into my cheerleading. For our varsity "evaluations" friday, we have to run a mile. Though, I'm not complaining much about that. I love the mile. (: hmmmm, maybe I am just a baby but seriously, where does this become something I just love all the time? Eventually I am hoping. But for now, I am sunk. And as I write this (11:35) Vance walks out the door to run. Maybe we are the same as in both of us are insomniacs. Hmmm, oh well. Tomorrow I will use an eliptical machine, run at night, take my vitamins, and do more of my "old lady" pilates for my back. FUN! I am just soooooo exciting. Oh and did I mention I am freaking out for evaluations on FRIDAY??? Yuuuus.
